SUCCESS!!!! Let’s Rock!

Today marks an important milestone for both my online presence and the art studio project.

When I opened my website this morning, I was relieved to see that the unexpected foreign‑language message on my blog page had been removed. Additionally, the three placeholder “generic blogs” that were originally added as temporary content are now gone. Most importantly, my first official post is live, which means I can begin documenting the studio’s development in real time.

On the construction side, we’ve made meaningful progress. Thanks to the $500 raised through GoFundMe, I was able to hire an architect to create preliminary drawings for the property. After reviewing the initial draft — which placed the studio in the center of the land — my partner and I clarified our vision: the art studio should be located on one end of the property, with our homes positioned on the opposite end.

The architect is now working on updated drawings that reflect this layout. Once completed, our next step will be to bring them to the permitting department to determine feasibility and compliance.

Today’s takeaway: The website is ready, the design process is underway, and the project is advancing step by step. One rock at a time.

THIRD TIMES THE CHARM

Technically, this is my very first “blog” … but in reality, it’s my third attempt.
I signed up with GoDaddy to design my website, and I’m so grateful to Kayla, who was instrumental in giving me the layout I have now. She even walked me through how to create a blog, and it seemed so easy. I was so excited—until the next day, when I wrote my first entry. I followed the instructions to the “T,” pressed publish, then went to admire my handiwork… and found nothing. Nowhere. Zilch.
Murphy’s Law strikes again. Deep breath. Try again tomorrow.

Day two: another blog draft—this time, feeling confident, I even added a picture. I pressed submit, and suddenly my entire website changed. I couldn’t access anything—my blog had taken over the whole site! Pure panic mode.

After four hours of arguing with AI, I finally reached a real human, and balance was restored once again.
So now, this is really my first attempt at posting a blog. Let’s see how it goes.
